Can I use ir translate to make twisting the know FF and RW like a jog shuttle.

In the seek tool the knob causes fast forward and reverse.

Thanks but I think that only works if the track has been played through once. I want to use it for when I listen to shows I have recorded from the radio and I will only listen to those once.

I want to do it because when I FF for a long time many times I will hit a bump and my finger will come off the button and I end up skipping the track and having to start over again.

Just tested it. Works fine even if the track hasn't been played through before. You don't get the visual benefit of the profile graphic, but the knob twist still works. Remember you have to press the knob to go into "twist" mode.

I tried it before replying to Rob and it didn't seem like it worked on an unplayed track I think it's because the doesn't FF much at a time.

I would definitely be better if I could make it FF like when I hold down the right button.
