Whenever I import clips I captured with my Dazzle DVC-150, there is no audio. I tried adjusting the volume within the program, but it doesn't seem to help. Any suggestions?

When you say there is no audio do you only mean on the import screen? For some reason the program doesn't play the audio while you are importing. But once I import it, I can hear the audio when manipulating the video in the next tab.

However, I don't recommend continuing with this program. Go read the comments at CNET and the Pinnacle forums. The program is notorious for letting you spend a ton of time putting together a video and then crashing whenever you go to burn it.

It's too bad because it's got a great interface. I'm still looking for something that works and has an interface my Mom can handle.

I mean there is no audio on the edit screen or when I combine clips and render them as an mpg2 file. I wouldn't normally use this program, however, I have had a LOT of trouble finding a program that could edit together clips and render them looking as good as the original files.....this is the only one that I have found that does that....

what is your experience with it crashing?
I have V7 and have only been able to burn 1 CD without it dropping dead before completion.
Most annoying.
As you said, the interface is great but..........

I've used it, and for some reason found it far more reliable on windows 2000 than windows XP. This was almost a year ago, so I don't remember the details too well. Hopefully in a year they've been able to fix some of the problems.

The PInnacle software Came with my All In Wonder 9700 and 9800. It's a pile of crap under XP. Very slow and poor UI that will make anyone beg to be using Apple's iMovie or iDVD or Final Cut on the higher end. Its UI also bounces around my screen without any input from me - set the window to appear in one place and it jumps or moves as the program is working on something - you never know when it's actually working or if it's just locked up though.

I tried using it to take a recorded show (from MPEG2 format) and make a VCD. It brought in the file and tagged it with all sorts of arbitrary clip marks. When I put them into a time line and made the disc, it had only a couple of minutes of video and not what was indicated in the time line. It will never be used again.
