I finally got around to posting some photographs of the Karma. I hope you guys like them.

This picture shows everything that comes with the Karma: The player, the docking cradle, the power brick, the Sennheiser earbuds and RCA, USB and Ethernet cables.

Here's a picture of the Karma in its cradle. The cradle is clear plastic, but lights up a cool blue when the unit is docked.

In this one the Karma is where it spends a lot of its time, In my hand. It is a very comfortable fit.

Here's the requisite photo of the Karma beside a AA battery and a quarter. I think you'll agree its very small.

And then there's one with a standard cd.

This picture shows the Karma alongside the new 128mb Cali player.

Finally, heres a screenshot of Rio Music Manager 2. Click here for a full version.

Not only does the dock light up, it's also software controlled. We can fade, blink, etc it...

This isn't in the first software release, though.

Nice attempt with the pics. Get a tripod, though.

Cheers

He was using a tripod...

He was just nervous about retribution for posting pics.

Either that or someone was jiggling his arm.

Which, of course, immediately gives me an idea. There could be distinct visual indications for electrical (i.e., "charging") and Ethernet connectivity. Cool.

Okay, so, two dumb questions..
1. Where are these pics coming from? Are these early models that 'leaked' out?
2. Looking in the original poster's pics, there was one included of the management software. Will this be replacing Emplode for out RioCars, as well?

Me.

No, they didn't leak. After the official announcement, I think that the beta testers are now allowed to talk about the new products.

Will this be replacing Emplode for out RioCars, as well?

Eventually.

Ah, cool. That is a big plus for me. I have having "redundant" software.

Me.
