Should I look at a 20, or Wait for the 40,
Battery life is important to me, how does the 20gb model battery life compare to the 40, or is it the same, the 40 looks like it is about $45usd more That's not much extra for double the capacity, but aparently it's fatter, so I guess it's heavier. Are there any Comparison Charts?...

It's kind of a personal decision, but I'm taking a "wait and see" approach with the Karma. The 90-day warranty is just too low for a portable player. I'm going to see how the first few reviews come in, see how the reliability is as time goes on, etc. By that time, the 40GB's will have hopefully come down in price. I was a semi-early adopter with the empeg car, but with only a 90 day warranty on such an expensive product, I'm going to sit on the sidelines for awhile.

90 day warranty? That's nuts.
I assume that won't apply in the UK and we'll get a full 1 year warranty as with all other electrical products?

They will have no choice in the UK, it's the law.

Unless, of course, they just don't sell their products in the UK...

Not funny, given past (admittedly pre-ownership change days) experience

So what if you live in the US but buy the product either online from a UK source or while inside the UK?

Law says you can return it to the shop you bought it from within 12 months, so I'd assume you'd be covered.
