One of the posts on the mother board where the HD IDE cable connects to is very very loose due to my constant removal and installation of that cable. In fact, it is possible to bend the post down so it is flat against the motherboard. As such, I am hearing lots of artifacts as noted in the FAQ regarding this type of noise, on a random basis, which I guess is due to a poor conection between this post and whatever it is connected to....

So, my question is are there any recommendations on what to do to make this post more secure? Is this connector on the motherboard a standard part that I can find in an electronics shop, or is it proprietary to the RioCar?

Or is the occurance of these artifacts not at all due to this loose post but to something which I may have missed?
