I notice the Karma has a web server, but all it has is product docs and stuff. Are there plans to make this more full-featured a la the Hijack web interface?

One of the "stuff" is Mike Schrag's "Rio Music Manager Lite", essentially Jemplode for the Karma...

Doesn't answer your question, just wanted to make sure you knew it was there.

edit: read your other thread, see you're using it to work around your RMM problems, cool. Also make sure to get the latest firmware and RMML before using ethernet, the shipping version of ethernet was slower.

Yeah, I found RMM Lite and got the new version off the support site. I'm more interested in something like the Hijack web interface.

The closest thing right now (which isn't very close, but maybe will provide some of the features) is the streaming app I started working on .. .http://www.inzyme.com/rio

I tried it

This command
http://YUBEROM:9000/fileInfo?type=all&format=m3u works fine and the playlist generated works too. When I try http://YUBEROM:9000 to get the "lame" interface I just get a blank page. I was using k-meleon with IE it wouldn't work at all.

Make sure whatever browser you're using supports XML + XSL (which is how it is rendered) ... I think the latest IE does and I'm using Moz 1.5.
