Please peek at the main news item for Thursday, Nov 13, 2003 on my GeekHackFilk.com site.

It's so sad, it's funny.

You can trademark a logo, or a specific combination of words

And I think I'll trademark the word "it" while I'm at it.
That would be a Fair and Balanced view of the situation

There's a thread about it that's pretty funny.

That is very interesting information, thank you, Donato. Seems that the trademark holder for "Caution" means it specifically in relation to clothing that has the word caution printed on it. Now I begin to see what they're being spineless about.

I still think they're wrong, but I get a glimmer of what they're on about.

And, actually, it looks like they've been at this for a while.

Edit:

Seems to me if you don't use "CAUTION!" TM (oops), then you're OK.

And, while I'm at it, have a look here.

Aw jeez. Like the guy said in the thread, half his clothes say "Caution: Dry Clean Only" on the tags....

Anyway, should be solved easily enough by changing it to "Warning".

What a trouser snake. SIGH...
