If you want to buy something, the "for sale" forum (and not other places) are the right place to post it. We don't need to know twice, or five times, that you need one.

I think that, in his particular case, the cross-post was appropriate. He's in a real hurry to get a VFD, and wanted to get the maximum exposure. If I were in the same predicament, I'd probably do the same thing.
