Does anyone own a set of Q-Logic Panels?
I am interested in them in that they seem like they would produce a much better stereo image than most front speaker systems. Maybe it's just me, but I much rather hear the music as if it were in front of me as opposed to if you were at a concert with your back to the stage or sitting in a box full of speakers.
I like depth and ambiance in my music and I rather use the front speaker as the main drivers and the rear as ambiance or surround speakers.
So.......is the imaging produced by these enclosures worth it!

And they add a nice factory look to the car too.

From what I've heard/read the imaging depends on the model of car - some Q-logic kicks seem to better/worse than others. One fairly common complaint seems to be that they're somewhat flimsy and could do with some stiffening (glassfiber+resin, or fiber containing body putty)

Depending on the kind of car you drive I recomend ditching your back speakers then. If you drive a 2 door veichle then you won't have people in the back very often and even when they are back there they will be able to hear your fronts fine. I said as much in this post.

Your exactly right, music should sound as though it is coming from in front of you. Any back speakers only distroy that effect. If, on the other hand, you drive a large sedan or SUV and regularly have people in the back, then they might appreciate speakers back there for them to listen to. It all depends on what you drive.
