Hmm.. After my drive upgrade, I've gotten two errors in middle-of-sync:

player(23): memory violation at pc=0x0214774c, lr=0x021d2010 (bad address=0x00000008, code 0)

..and...

player: permission fault on section, address=0xfffffffd, code 2

..The second one, I think, was because I had no playlist. But the first is starting to worry me.. It /looks/ like a bug in player software. (Bad pointer or somethin'..) but.. Ideas?
