I'll be there again this year for Macworld.

And I have an important question I'm hoping the invaluable brain power on this forum can answer for me.

A block away from the Moscone Center....

The Metreon building/theater...

In the eatery section, the Luna Azul Mexican restaurant....

I need to know if it's still there. Because one of their burritos is what I'm looking forward to the most of all from this trip. This will be my third visit, so I know what to expect from the city and trip in general. But if I'm expecting a nice burrito and find out the restaurant has closed, I'll be most disappointed. So I need to know this valuable information in advance.

Other than that, I'll be in and around the ATI booth at various times of the day through-out the week of January 5th-9th.

If anyone wants to see the one and only game available for Mac OS, we'll have it running at our booth on the best graphics hardware available (for the Mac - we've got better stuff for Windows and Linux ) Hey, we'll also be handing out a demo CD with... Demos (really? How novel!) and screen savers that show off Pixel and Vertex Shaders as well as a whack of desktop backgrounds for pretty much whatever monitor combination you can think of (single display, dual display with spanning images, portrait, landscape, 16:10, 5:4 and 4:3 aspects - the works). Some of those pictures I shot myself too. All were edited and formatted by me. Plus some wonderful documentation written and laid out my yours truly. It'll be collector's item. Limited edition of 1000 CDs, not available in stores and not available on the web.

Ok, enough self-promotion.

I think there's plenty of guys in San Francisco that will be glad to let you eat their burrito.

If you're looking for a good burrito, the Metreon would be the last place on earth i'd ever go to get one... but if you've had one there you like, then more power to ya. But if perchance they aren't open, i can tell you the best places in the city to get real burritos.

Taqueria Can-cun on Mission and 19th. It's been the Best of the Bay winner for a number of years for a reason.

I can honestly say that the best burrito I've had is a Beef Grilled Stuft Burrito from Taco Bell.

Best quick burrito I have had would be one from Chipolte. There seems to be several scattered around the San Francisco area.

Just thinking about it now, I'll probably head there for lunch today.

Can you buy burritos in the UK? I've always wanted to try one. Maybe one of you guys could mail me one?

The only burrito I have ever eaten was a desperate, necessary purchase of a frozen one from the vending machine in the Candlewood Suites hotel that I way staying at in Seattle. It was early in the morning, after a particularly heavy night of drinking and I really needed something other than chocolate or chips/crisps to eat.

Suffice it to say, even with the high level of alcohol in my system, when it had been defrosted using the in-room microwave it was a truely disgusting culinary experience. Still, I did feel better after eating it...

I'm sure real burritos are much nicer

That's one hell of a site. I think I'll try to find the Chipolte location if I have time for walking tour or two. I still don't know what I'm going to do with my spare time around the city (some mornings and some afternoons). I'd love to go out of the city, but only if someone ends up renting a car.

It'll be great just getting away from the cold for a week. And then getting back only to fly to Mexico the next day! For another week. I'm not sure I'll want to try the mexican food in Mexico. Kidding, I'm sure it'll be good as well.

Mmm... would you have any use for my massive collection of Air Canada upgrade certificates? (have to be Prestige or Elite)

I'll put in my vote for El Farolito - 2779 Mission Street. That place rocks.
