Slightly odd request, but hopefully someone here can help ! I need a small program or screensaver that will count down to a specific date in the future. You know, like "87 days, 14 hours.....etc". Only problem is that it's going on a crappy old laptop that is running 3.11 and the stuff I can find on the 'net is for 9.x upwards. I've found *one* screensaver that works, but it's very basic and they want fifteen bucks to register it and stop the popups :-( Any pointers ??

I think that this countdown timer will work for you. Its an old version (1.7) of Countdown! by Contactplus.com

oh, and its freeware
