I have a little project I'm working on with a friend and I'm trying to find solutions for hard disk mounting. Basically it's going to be in vehicle, fabrication is an option. What I need are pieces of rubber similar to what the empeg has on it's mounting trays. Any ideas on where to find such and animal? Alternative mounting options?

Nah. It is just a very quiet time of year. Give it a chance.

sweet, thats pretty much what I'm looking for. You know any trick to ordering online, or do I have to find a dealer close and contact them?

Just about any bearing and drive supply house can get them for you. I used to buy them from King Bearing, which I think became "applied" or something equally memorable.

They are at www.applied.com, but you may have to call them, I don't see Lord on their web page.
