A feature I would like to see is to be able to scroll through playlist vertically, not horizontally.

Also once inside of a playlist it would be nice if you could scroll through the playlist you are in and choose a song without it playing that song you choose and saying end of playlist.

Do you mean insert the selected song? That's already in there.

Cool, would that effect the playlist for the next time you play the song.

Or would the playlist remain the same.

No, it's only temporary. The playlists are read-only when you're listening to music. You can only permanently alter a playlist by using Emplode.

If you want to make permanent edits to playlists on-the-fly, get a Karma. It does that

For that matter, the Karma also lists things vertically...

It's been awhile, but didn't HiJack used to work Horizontally? Yeah, I know there's no need to use a capitalize horizontal...

I did a "special" release of Hijack once, just to demonstrate how much more difficult horizontal menus would be to the end user.

I think all of the pieces are now there for someone to implement replacement playlist menus completely in Hijack (or a userland app) using a vertical layout.

Go for it!

Cheers
