Is the black connector on the back of my empeg supposed to be loose? It's sort of wobbley. Should I just tighten the screws?

By the way rob, since I haven't gotten my player back yet, could someone over there give me an idea of what was wrong with it? Does it look okay now?

It's a self aligning connector, it's supposed to have a certain amount of "wobble" to allow it to mate up when pushed into the sled.

If yours is the player which had the dim display (I'm not in the office and so can't check) then this has been fixed. One of the capacitors on the display board had broken down in some way and meant you were running at about 1/6th normal brightness. Only ever seen this on one other player...

That's great news! I think someone was going to give me a tracking number but I haven't recieved it yet.

But I'm happy it's fixed. Just hope I'll be home when the FedEx guy gets here.

I don't think it shipped in time for our FedEx collection on Friday - I held it back for you to confirm the delivery address (we have about 4 of them on file for you I believe!). It'll ship express so the latest you should get it would be Tuesday.
