I seem to recall seeing an answer to this question in a previous post, but a search failed to locate it. Can anyone tell me the correct procedure: must I upgrade player software sequentially (i.e. 9, 9a, 9b, 9c, 10), or can I skip from my current status at 8c directly to 10? If the former is true, and I'm currently at 8c, is the next upgrade in sequence 9b? I see release notes respecting 9 and 9a but no test upgrade files for 9 and 9a.

This is a very good question, and Schofiel should make sure to include it in the FAQ.

The answer is, you can go straight from 8C to 10 without interim upgrades. Make sure that you've installed the latest Emplode (which includes the latest Upgrade Tool) before applying the upgrade.
