Emplode is giving me a "download failed when checking database" error. I tried downgrading to 2.0 and i also tried rebuilding the database using the directions at http://www.riocar.org/modules.php?op=modload&name=FAQ&file=index&myfaq=yes&id_cat=8&faqent=220#220 but it did not help. What should I try next?

seems as if you're still on a5. downgrade to a3 or v2final.

Can i check config.ini without being able to connect to the player? Also, I am still having the problem with 2.0 i just happened to print the boot log thing after switching back to 3.0a5

If you can install Hijack you should be able to ftp in and fetch the file.

Logo Editor is giving me error 53 when i try to instal hijack

mmm.. if i recall correctly, i think 53 is 'file not found'
perhaps you mistyped a location?

If you get error 53 when you run logo editor, it means you have not installed it correctly. Make sure to unzip everything, not just the main EXE.

Really, though, my main advice to you would be to just skip the alpha software that you're running and go back to 2.0 final. You'll have much less trouble with that and it will "just work".

I am running 2.0 and the database problem wont go away. Emplode still can not connect. I got hijack installed and i can connect with ftp...but what should i do?
