I gather that lit buttons need HiJack to be lit. Right?

I know HiJack needs 2.0 or higher to run. Thus, lit buttons need 2.0 or higher.

But, is there ANY way to hack HiJack into a 1.03 player? I'm just looking for lit buttons on 1.03.

(... it all boils down to the menu functionality of 2.0. I'll pretty much do anything for a tweaked UI in 2.0; learn empeg programming, pay someone to learn empeg programming, pay a couple people to learn empeg programming...)

What part of the 2.0 UI don't you like ?

Not so much that I don't notice the quirk, but more the case that I find the entire player UI very quirky. Not at all how I might do it were I to do my own version of the same.

But it does work, better than anything else out there. Just quirky, like its makers.

Oh, I remember you saying that now. I agree that most of your concerns are genuine bugs. I'll try and look into it sometime during v3.

Mark: It's funny because I consider the 1.03 UI to be perfect. Like VERY perfect.
Ergonomic - most frequently used items are the least clicks away from start.
Consistant - every menu behaves in a similar fashion.
Fast - only trips over itself if I go REAL fast.
Intuitive - items are grouped well (with Visuals as my only example).
Totally rules - because it's from the empeg guys!
