It's in excellent condition, unfortunately the wire harness on the sled has been damaged (all I can say is university parking lot, I'm sure most of you feel my pain, lucky for me I always take the Empeg with me) but the sled itself is fine, as is the remote and the power cord. Also includes the usb wire and the power cord, and blue and red face plate. Serial number is #010101164. I bought this back in Jan of 2002. I hate to get rid of it, but there'd be no point if it ends up getting stolen. I'm not even sure I trust my dorm room anymore. I just wanted to offer it on here before I went to eBay. Someone who hoped they would find the empeg in the car. This just reinforces Tony's caution to never hide the player in the car...

Well, once they break in and don't find anything, then I guess you have to pay for your crime of taking your radio with you and not leaving anything for them...

Valid point. But if I do leave it, they just get mad because it doesn't have a hole to put the CD or tape in...

just leave an old CD-Head-Unit in the car for the thieves, so they won't go mad...
...and take the empeg with you!

Well, it looks like I'm going to have to fix the sled so I can put it on ebay. Does anyone know where I can get the 24 pin connector that the empeg uses? SPMirco seems to be sold out. I still have the wires and everything...
