Hi,
The Problem:
In Jemplode, I right click on any playlist folder, go to download then save to a folder and it starts to download to the PC. But... random songs downloaded are 0k in size, this doesn't make sense cause i can play the songs on the player.

I have the new hijack and the new Jemplode version
Oh also I tried this in Emplode and I can download everything fine!

Can anyone let me know what to do cause the FAQ doesn't seem to have this, And I like Jemplode a bit better

thanks all

This is very odd. A couple of questions...

1. What is the exact version number of Jemplode you're running?

2. What is the version number of the player firmware you're running?

3. Have you checked the box in Jemplode that says "Use Hijack When Possible"?

4. Have you performed the "FIDsift" operation on your player? (If you don't know what this is, then that's OK because you haven't.)

5. Does your player have two disk drives in it?

6. Are the problem files truly random, or do they share a common characteristic? For example, a non-ASCII character in the target file name, a non-standard file type such as WMA or OGG, an odd bitrate, unusually long comment fields in the tags, they all came from the same source, anything like that?

7. What version of the Sun Java Runtime Engine is installed on your PC?

hmmmm, to answer your questions

1) Jemplode Version 45
2) Version 2.00
3) Yep Option is checked off
4) Nope no idea what "FIDSift" is
5) 2 HDD's in the empeg
6) See below
7) Just downloaded the newest Version from Java.com

6) After Downloading And the Download Results come back:
example:

Failed/Skipped Filename
2Pac-Better Dayz-When We Ride On Our Enemies.mp3
Reason
h**p://192.168.1.107/drive0/fids/8380

****This Fid is actually on***
h**p://192.168.1.107/drive1/fids/8380

So question is how can I get Jemplode to look on that drive1 HDD to find the FID? Emplode does it perfectly.

Thanks

That's your problem. It's not the latest Jemplode, which is up to 54 or higher now, and corrects the two-drive bug (I think). Please get the latest JAR file from:

http://www.inzyme.com/rio/empeg/

Mike.... Please do something about this happening to other poor folk. All we need is the latest JAR at the jempeg.org site, without the installer or anything...
