woohoo! Now if only the Leafs can pull it together. Lets have an all-Canadian cup final!

Edit: Dang. Just now checked the score. Uh... go Avs. At least they were a once-Canadian team. No, wait... they're gone too.

So, if I understand it right, your Flames get to play my Sharks next? I never quite know who's playing who...

(Sharks finally finished off Colorado tonight in a really great game. Gotta love hockey in high def.)

Yeah, it'll be Sharks/Flames and Lightning/Flyers. I was kinda hoping the 'Lanche won so I could see some games here in Denver, although now I don't have to put up with the Colorado fans here at work. They seemed to be looking past the Sharks, but I kept telling them winning 4 in a row was super-very tough...

So what do folks think of the Sharks/Flames matchup? Who's gonna come out on top? I'd really love to see them play for the cup.

And even better in person. I had a blast seeing them get their first win in that series. I knew they really didn't have a chance though, with as close as the game was.

Yeah, I've been fortunate to see San Jose play live... let's see... at least three times now, I think. Maybe four. Definitely better than on TV.

Yeah, it was great to see the Flames beat up on Colorado 2-0 and 7-1 during the regular season. It's amazing how fickle the fans are here in Denver. A lot of people jumped on the Nuggets bandwagon this year - until they lost in the playoffs. It seems the only mainstay is the Broncos...

I think a lot of it has to do with how many people in the area moved here to live, instead of being a native. The Broncos, well for the past few years, they have seemed to do well enough to support.

The Avalanche do have a decent following though, since they won the first championship title out of all the local sports teams in 1996.
