Do you think I killed any componemtes? Did I merely desolder something?

Solder bridges.

Check pins 13, 19-24, 27-33, 36. They're the write enable, address lines and output enable respectively. Something is preventing the CPU talking to the rest of the system.

The fact you are getting the first line means a fair number of your data and address lines are OK.

I would guess the boot flash is only 16 bits and you have messed up the other half of the 32 bit data bus to the RAM so when the kernel is trying to decompress into RAM if falls over. I assume the decompression routine is copied to RAM first for speed and that's the bit causing the undefine instruction vector.

Can you get a multimeter with a continuity buzzer to check every line? I little trick because of the small size of the pins is to get some solid core wire and wrap that around the probes. Then use the solid core wire as probes. Makes it easier for stuff like this.

Did you possibly count pin 14 from the wrong end of the chip?

Yes. The dot is pin 1 and then count anticlockwise. Continuity test should show any problems. If you use my trick with the solid core wire, try and touch the pads on the PCB rather than the bottom set of pins - just to make sure the each pad is still connected to the bottom pin which is connected to the top pin.
