I had an accident last month and there was some problem with my Empeg. There was no display, switch/volume buttons do not function & remote sensor stop responding. The hardisk and mainboard is working correctly. There was a problem before with the display cable but it was fix and had been checked using multimeter.

Could this problem cause was a blow fuses? Or can it be the Maxim chip that was wired to step up 12V to around 60V? Its look like only the Display Board has been shut down entirely.

Need advise ASAP.

Have you checked that the cable didn't pop off of the motherboard during the accident?

Fuses, or more likely, a pinched display cable (the hard drive sled bumps against it on hard impacts, and sometimes cuts through one of the wires).

All fixable items.
