Hi, I have been an empeg owner for over 2 years now so hence how i found out about the rio receiver. I am almost ready to order a few but want to check if it is possible to use a Macintosh for the server. It may not put me off if this isn't possible but it sure would make my life easier. Yes, no problem, the Jreceiver project is a java-based server for the player. See the FAQ section of this BBS for links.

Jreceiver makes use of MySQL, so unless the Mac in question is running MacOS X it won't work, unless there is a version of MySQL for Mac OS 9 which isn't shown on the MySQL site.
