I've recently started to fiddle around with the display layouts using JReceiver. After browsing through the board and reading up on the all of the hex people have posted, I was wondering, has anyone successfully worked with the bitmap (0x05) element?
If so, do you have a working example you could post?

The bitmap element isn't actually used anywhere, so I wouldn't be surprised if it just plain doesn't work, even if you do decipher the format. IIRC, the format is whatever format the screen buffer uses. Ask someone who's written their own client for more info about that, perhaps.
