I have just added a 2nd rio receiver to my system and can't get it to work. My other unit works fine.
When I open the "Audio Receiver Manager" I can see both units, but the new one is a paler shade of gray. The IP for the new unit is showing as 192.168.0.10 in ARM.
On the units LCD display, when I reboot it, I get a "Searching for Music Server" message, then it goes to the Rio logo with the IP address below it. Again the IP here is 192.168.0.10, this should be a valid IP, right?
I don't know if this makes a difference, but my 1st machine is Dell branded, the new one is Sonicblue branded.

Anyone got any ideas on what's wrong here and how I can fix it?

Install the 1.04 software that came with your second receiver.

This will serve both old and new receivers. The 1.03 stuff doesn't serve the SONICblue branded (dell rebrand) receiver units.

I unistalled 1.03, installed 1.04 and the situation is still the same - old unit working, new one not.
Any further ideas?

I have a Dell unit, Sonic Blue unit, and several rebranded units functioning on the same HPN. The only difficulty I had was the v1.04 vs 1.03 that Hugo described. I had the exact same symptons, (greyed out icon, non responsive, old units functioning normally), but the 1.04 software fixed it. Does the new unit work when hooked directly to the computer?

Hi all, I too just purchased a second unit (Dell Re-Bagged) and both units cannot work at the same time. I have installed 1.04 and can get either unit working at once, but not both at the same time. They are both listed in the ARM, but one is greyed out. They both have different IP addresses, but no go.
Any ideas??
