Have gotten to the point where I get the jreceiver login web page, but when I try to login with user "admin" and password "admin", I get "Validation error".

My jetty log shows "ERROR: failure in LogonAction, java.lang.NullPointerException"

Any clues/pointers?

Its a common problem, the jreceiver yahoo group has lots on it. For Linux, Most likely something to do with the users in the Mysql database (not the jreceiver database).

I've successfully failed on numerous attempts to get passed that bit, on W2K though. Don't use jreceiver anymore because of it.

Well, got jreceiver working, it was the localhost vs. localhost.localdomain in /etc/hosts problem that was documented on the yahoo group.

I have winamp playing remotely from jreceiver... Now to get the Rio Receiver to work with it... Tested DHCP, tested NFS, the receiver still doesn't find the server...
