Okay. For connecting to the PC, you will need a standard USB cable, a
null modem serial cable (DB9 -> DB9) and a standard ethernet cable. The USB or ethernet connections are used for updating content, based on your preferred connection and operating system. The null modem serial allows you to have a console level connection, get to the shell prompt, debug, troubleshoot and upgrade the firmware on the player. Make sure you get a null modem cable.
As for power hookup in the car, you may need to splice the wires together. Originally, the player came with an ISO -> bare wire connector, but I cannot tell from the photo if that is included. You might be able to get a splitter for your install, but remember - you need to split a number of different lines, not just the power connection.
