Greetings once again, ladies, gentlemen, and those still unsure. It's been a long time since I've logged in here and I can tell I'm going to have to spend days reading through all the news. But while I'm doing so, you can be enjoying new mixes! My complete mix page is at http://www.mabula.net/mixes and I've probably made about three new mixes since then. They're all hosted from my computer via BitTorrent now, but since I've got a symmetric 512kbit connection you should find the download process pretty speedy. Please leave the mixes seeding for as long as possible to make this process even easier for the next people. Please let me know what you think of the mixes, as I always enjoy hearing feedback on them! (Including whether you don' feel I should be posting this here) Have fun, Paul

If you stop posting here, I'll lack new long mixes to put on my empeg. Your mixes are still used to show off the empeg to people from time to time, and I still enjoy them quite a bit.

Holy cow, I'm 8 mixes behind!! Paul, I just got done with a binge of your mixes last week: "Clubmis 2003", "Journey to the Center of the Mind", "On the Wings of the Storm", and "Machine Insanity". Quality, totally fit the mood of the dark rainy weather and fighting traffic to get home from work.
Oh, haha, and I'm slightly considering driving to Indiana (from New Jersey) to have a meeting with my plastics manufacturer who's making the translucent buttons. I was going to listen to PaulWay mixes for the entire 20 hour drive, then come back here and say something like, "For 20 hours I only listened to 8 songs; yup, PaulWay mixes."
If you've gotten better since Clubmix 2003 and Beyond Lightspeed, then I can't wait to hear the next 8!

I know you said this in another thread, but figured the response should go here instead. Quote: I'll sit down and work out the intro and outro times on all the songs some day - sooner if people want it (hint: ask me).
Consider yourself asked. I'd really like this, as I want to add them as lyrics to the songs, so I know what you mixed via emphatic. If you put the times on the site, I'll tag the songs and upload the "lyrics" to the lrcdb.org site.

What I'd like to do is to end up with the lyricised versions of the files, and then host them from my machine through BitTorrent. The 'lyrics' don't take up any appreciable size in the file, and I need to go through and edit some of the ID3 information anyway. This would probably also coincide with me setting up a BT Tracker on my web host (www.mabula.net) (BTW, does anyone use one of these and have any recommendations?)
That way downloaders don't have to do a postprocess to include the track titles. Mind you, I'd appreciate you posting up a simple howto on adding a cue sheet to a MP3 file (or at least a link to one), as I'm sure other people out there aren't going to want to download an entirely new file just to get the cue sheet.
I'll keep you posted with updates.
Have fun,
Paul
P.S. See other thread for polls and questions!

Give it a few hours and try again. I, for one, have them seeded on my home desktop so my seed is only available when I am at home and my machine is powered up. I suspect that is similar for quite a few of the seeds.

Hmmm - " target="_blank if it happens again; sometimes my tracker is down, because it too is run on my home machine. I risk the ire of my partner by keeping my machine running almost all the time, but since it also records Dr Who and Triple J's Mix Up for me this is seen as necessary for domestic harmony. Some day I will move my tracker to my web host, when I can find a good tracker that I can convince my web host to run.
Have fun,
Paul
P.S. There wasn't any outage around the time of your post: let me know if you have any further problems.
