Rubber case you ask? Well, the Empeg works as well in the home as in the car. In the car it is well protected in the dash inside the car mount. But toting it around outside of the carrying case and car mount, it is vunerable. If they were a rubber casing it could be put in, I would feel more safe.

First, it would provide a sticky surface and would not fall off of shelves or unstable things we end up setting it on.

Second, it would give the unit a little more protection against mishaps.

No I don't mean a rubber case that encloses the entire unit. That would create way to much heat I imagine. But a case that covers the edges. With most of the steel chassis still exposed.

This would be really nice. I know most of their time is spent on new software and such, but maybe thay couild take a little time to make this accessory for me. I'm sure others would like too.
