I had a synch abort, now the player takes a really long time to boot, but eventually starts playing, However when I try to connect with jEmplode or Emplode, it gets to checking media and the Empeg itself goes back to the display of Synchronizing. I waited 1/2 hr and it didn't finish. I have about 50gig on it. It also has extra memory installed and is running 2.0. Any help would be appreciated.

If it's doing a media check, that can take hours...

I guess I will wait impatiently, I just don't remember the Empeg unit displaying Synchronizing during a media check.

Yep, it kinda sucks. I guess that's the price to pay for all this storage we have!

You can turn off periodic media checks in Hijack.

Gleep, please note that if it does the media check twice in a row (i.e., the next time you synch it does it again), then you need to do this.
