So far I have had to use Fail use to extract the DVD files then Ashampoo Movie shrink to make them smaller.

Basically I want to take a few dozen furturama shows with me on my PDA (I have a few 1g SD cards)
I own the DVD's if that is an issue.

Any suggestions?

Um, that's why he posted, because nobody replied to him in that thread (it had sort of died down by that time).

I would have given you an answer, but I've never used MPE before. But, if you want to try MPEG4, which probably has more support these days, that might be the way to go. I'll have a look into it if you wish. I used to do some MPEG4 conversion for my Archos. I have a pretty good tool for converting a video file to MPEG4, but you'll still have to start with FairUse or something like it to get the initial video. I'll get you the name of the program soon.
