Hello all......I am about to install a MK2 in my '90 Laser. Anyone out there that has installed an empeg into a 1G DSM? I would like any advice on what has to be done to the trim. Also, I plan to use only a single slot in my double DIN hole, are any of you aware of a replacement trim piece for the DSM that would look good and provide a fill for the empty spot (like a storage cubby hole etc). Yes, my 2G DSM has such a thing. Go to the dealer and have them look up the part. They come stock with it on the single din factory radio units, the second slot has a storage pocket.
