Hi,

Since I bought my MK2 a few years ago when it was still sold by Empeg, I was ever asking what means the small round icon on the bottom-left side of the Empeg screen. Sometimes when the music is playing, this icon appears-disappears.

Since the time I was thinking that this mean the mp3 encoding quality because it was there in some very good songs. but... not sure.

So if there could be anybody that can break the silence since this very long time of unknow would be ... statisfying my curiosity...

Bottom left??? Hmmm... Good question. I am not familiar with that one. Can you get a screenshot of it?

I understood the location, but I am curious to see what the icon looks like. I know the hard drive status is upper right, battery is upper left. I did not know of anything in the lower left (other than pause / play icons).

it is especially just at the left of the Play/Pause icon.

Which version of the player?

I have a MK2 with one of the last Hijack firmeware.

does it show up in that info mode?
the only time i can think of a round icon showing up there is in the info mode Seek Tool.

yes you're right, I use almost all the time this info mode. And if I remember well it appears only in this mode.

Do you know what does it mean ?

I need to check this afternoon in my car and give you a feedback tomorrow.

But if it is really a BMP detector, what is his purpose ? Is there a way to increase the tempo during the sound is beeing played ?
