Checked the FAQ but couldn't spot anything. I've had the lit button electrics for about a year, but have just managed to get hold of a set of translucent buttons to use with it - finally I have lit buttons!

However, when I switch off the ignition and the player goes into standby, the buttons stay lit, on what is probably the lowest brightness setting. They stay on until the player switches off completely.

Is there a way to make the buttons switch off when the player goes into standby?

Yes. Use hijack and specify buttonled_off=0 in config.ini.
