I'm posting for a friend to see what he might get for this unit.

It's a 30 gig Mark IIa (Rio logo) that was never really used. It was never installed in a car and he only played with it for a couple of days when he first got it to put some Bob Dylan tunes on it. When we received it it was plagued with the bad drive cable problem. We moved the drive to the end of the cable and all was good. Not sure if he still has the spare cable that was shipped to him or not. This unit will be shipped in the original box (I believe that's where the unit has been hiding for the past three years) with the remote and all wiring and sled.

I would buy it but I already have 2 that are under utilized and my landscaping budget kinda has toys put on hold for right now.

Any offers or suggestions for a sale price?

Hm, $350 - $400? I used to pretend to follow empeg prices, but have been lazy lately. That range seems high, but since it's essentially new, that helps.

So it has a new cable that doesn't give the drive error?
