I've been using Myth TV to record programs for ages now. I've been using the in-built edit and nuvexport scripts to transcode recordings I want to keep and get reasonably good quality results. The problem is the editing function in Myth never seems to be accurate, the in points are bang on but the outpoints are always wrong. What I'd like to know is, what tools do the people who contribute to bittorrent use to make their videos? The edits are always tight and the quality (most seem to be HDTV recordings) is spot on.

Anybody know where I could find this info?
