Looking to add a remote to my empeg with slightly more vigar than i have in the past as i am starting wear the buttons out on the front of the empeg.

So my question is does this remote interface still work with a mk2a running v2.0 and a version of hijack.

I have had a search but the search appears to just return all threads.

I fyou have a tuner, you don't have to do any of that. There's an interface for that exact model. Might be easier to get one of those than trying to hack something together.

Yeah, what Bitt said. The tuner module has a direct plug-in interface for the Sony RM-X2S and X4S wired remotes.

Your other options for a steering wheel remote are here.

I had one of the new tuners built by the man himself , but it sucked , buttons would always get stuck or not work first time.

The stick i was using was fine with my sony and still is.

I just want something that can control the empeg as i fear the biuttons on the front are giving it up.

Ideal another sony stick mounted the other side on the wheel.
