Yeah, he reacquired it last month. I unfortunately missed those games, and have thought about going back and playing them.

With so many fans begging for the Sam and Max 3D sequel by Lucas Arts, and considering it was largely complete, I'm still surprised they didn't release it via some low-key distrobution method like download-only. Skimp on the DRM and copy protection to save costs. Having a few people pay for it is better than having none. It's even more sad that they can't sell the game to the new license holders.

Comments?
Yeah, I'd heard about it but couldn't say anything. What I didn't know was if they were going to acquire all the assets they'd already created from LucasArts or not. Looks like that's a not, which is sort of a bummer because it looked amazing, but also sweet because now it will look MORE amazing and hopefully I'll get to work on it this time! I was really bummed when I didn't get on that project at LucasArts, so this might be a second chance.
PS... Out From Boneville is out! Only $20 and an immediate download. Go buy it and help pay my future paychecks! =] (and to admire my amazing animation skills... haha). Seriously... It looks pretty damn good. I haven't even played it yet though... first thing in the AM!

Please pass on the word to any LucasArts adventure game lovers that you know. This game is right up that alley and made by many of the same folks.

Oh yeah, forgot to mention that today, too. Saw it on Blue's News, same as the Sam and Max news.

Hey, Loren, can you exert some influence and get one of the guys from Telltale to respond to this for me?
I *WANT* to buy the game, but can't.

So you got it sorted?
Man, I went and did a quasi interview at the new Lucas campus... holy hell. So huge. And the food is UNREAL. They hired 5 star chefs that are serving meals that would cost $30 or more in a restaurant, and you can get it in the dining hall for $5, with an amazing view of the Golden Gate. So tempting!

It's not sorted yet, but they have replied to me on the Telltale forum. They are going to look into it with their e-commerce provider. Thanks for poking the right people.
Oddly, I can't seem to log back into the Telltale forum to reply. It says my email address isn't on file. Ah well, I'll try again with another email address if I need to reply.
