If I could get a decent signal this would save me $25/month, so I'm all for it. I bet SBC/Comcast will fight it tooth and nail.

EDIT: Actually it would save me over $50 as I could finally get rid of my land line and go all mobile.

My first thought is "Oh wow, that'll be a LOT of unprotected machines on the same network. Identity theft will be BAD."

But as it's Google, they'll most likely have that covered.
