How many of us empeggers know that you can choose to have the visuals automatically change within a specific visual category when the song changes on the player?

I was just futsing with the menu on the player yesterday when i stumbled upon this option. After 3 years you would have thought one would be totally familiar with the fuctionality...but i guess not!

So...guys...how many knew this little bit of functionality existed?

I didn't notice the Logdiff visual until fairly recently - hoping it was only brought in for v3...

is very nice for much rock music

I have a similar story....

One thing that always bugged me about the player was that when you cycle through the mp3's and add something, you can't go back to where you just came from. So if I'm in Playlist->All_Artists->Ride->Nowhere and want to add another Ride album after Nowhere, I have to cycle through all over again.

Recently I was about to do just that, but then got sidetracked and kept my finger down on the down button. So I clicked once to go into Playlists, then clicked and held the button. After a second, it jumped straight to the Ride section!

Awesome!

well as my remote battery is dead i just used the buttons on player and drilled down to visuals and then scrolled around till i got to 'random' and activated it..then what it does is change the visual group that you have selected every time the song changes. i dont think it randomly selects from all visuals, just from the group u choose.

also...i dont have hijack and it is not any beta software..its the latest version..which ever number that is

You wont find THAT in the owners manual!

i wonder how many more unknown treasures are lurking in the player??

anybody anybody??

I recently discovered: Press and hold the search button to go directly search by title.
