Does anyone know of a web site (or program or whatever) that would allow me to tell it what bands I'm interested in and then have it tell me when they release new material? You'd think that would be pretty straightforward. You'd think that allmusic would do it. But I can't seem to find anything.

Other tracking stuff would be helpful, too, like keeping track of bands I want to check out and so on.

Yes, I want that too. Also would be cool to be able to do that for TV shows you like...

I think this does exist. I'm sure I have heard of it, but it is lost since I didn't immediately del.icio.us it.
