Any suggestions where to go to eat/drink/be merry in Frankfurt on a Saturday night? As is often the case, the neighbourhood immediately surrounding the exhibition centre is not exactly inspiring.

Thankfully I don't have to travel for work anymore, used to hate having to go out on my own of an evening. Hope you find somewhere decent.

Go into the old/historic part of town on the opposite side of the river. Beware the apple wine and kase mit music! You don't find the central station ambiance inviting?
