I'm finishing up the flat downsizing but having a problem to get anyone to take a dryer and some used paperback books. I'd do a boot sale but don't have a car.

First off, anyone want them? If not, any idea where I can donate these? Last place I called only picks up on Thursday AM which doesn't work for me.

Freecycle.

Last night I managed to give away a 12" B&W Monitor, three PSUs, a graphics card and 49 issues of Topgear magazine in the space of just a few hours.

Might be worth posting at Downsizer (www.downsizer.net) or you could see if there's a local freecycle group:

Looks like it'll work out. Two replies in a couple of hours. Thanks again.

Arghhh, 4 attempts and I still have the dryer.

The first 3 didn't show and the last didn't want a top loading dryer. Maybe folks don't take free items as serious as when they actually pay for them? I'll try the charity shop route again or maybe ebay.
