Quick question... do any manufacturers make a pcmcia card that doesn't protrude from the laptop? All the ones I see stick out a fair bit and I know I'll snap it off.

There's one by Sony. The antenna is at 90 degrees so it lays against the side of the laptop instead of sticking out. I think I found it by making a similar post here on this very BBS a few years ago. Dunno if they make it any more or not.
