NY Empeg mini-meet - November 11

Instead of having nobody agree on a date or place, I decided to just put this out there... Myself and a friend with an empeg will be at Arthur's Tavern in Emerson, NJ on November 11th, 2006. We will bring our cars around 5:00PM and hang out in the parking lot for about an hour before going inside for large steaks and draught beer. So, if you want to join in the fun, let me know so I can arrange a large table. Here's pics from last mini-meet here: Pics

Good times and good steak were had by all! Always good to chat with a bunch of guys who like music, cars and technology. Maybe in the Spring we'll go for the other end of the quality food spectrum - the Grease Trucks in New Brunswick (geeze, Wikipedia has everything).

Well, those 24- or 48-oz steaks are really just for the effete panty-waisted New Englanders and northeasterners.
As is well known, real men in cattle country go for the free 72-oz steak complete with baked potato, bread roll with butter, ranch-style beans, shrimp cocktail, and salad.
Hey, even Homer Simpson did it in the "Maximum Homerdrive" episode of 28 March 1999.
If you are really hungry you are allowed to eat two within the same hour.
And yes, that has actually been done....
