Does anybody have any experience with installing in a 1996 Pontiac Grand Am? I am looking for info on how to dismantle the dash and install the stereo. installdr.com has no info on the car and the closest I have done before is a Pontiac Sunfire (which is a piece of cake).

Crutchfield will have Master sheets for that car, and will also have wiring harness adapters, mounting brackets, etc. Call them directly to get information. Their master sheets are worth their weight in gold.

And by the way, there's an "Installation Notes" forum on this BBS specifically for this kind of discussion.

Amen to that, Tony. I installed my g/f's stereo in her chevy crapalier (uh, I mean Cav-allac), with the help of the Cruthfield sheet. VERY worthe the 5 bucks!

Yeah, I can't imagine what damage I would have done to the dash and front doors of my Honda without that master sheet. There were some hidden screws that I didn't know existed until I got that master sheet.

Sounds good, but I think the friend is in a little more of a hurry then those sheets would get here... like tomorrow :) or should that be a :(
