I've just orderd some software from the UK (I reside in the US.) I just received the order confirmation and noticed that the my State (Massachusetts/MA) was left out of the shipping address but the zip code is present.

e.g.:
My Name
Street address.
Town
PostCode
USA

I was just wondering if this would end up being a potential problem? Should I email them and have the shipping address updated?

No idea how zip codes work but post codes in the UK don't need a state/county or even town to be routed correctly. No harm in emailing them.

If it has a zip code, they probably never even look at the city and state. Worst case it'll have to get sorted manually, which might add a few days, but it's not going to be a big deal. As long as the zip code is correct.

That's what I figured. Just trying to head off any issues as a 'return to sender' could get quite expensive.
