My screen has started fading in and out, normally the warmer it is the less it displays.
Just wondering what might be causing it and how might it be fixed ?

Likely a problem with the high voltage display. You probably have a component going out in that circuit.

I tried reflowing the connections to the VFD, which made it a little better but not much.

Is there anyone in Australia I can send it to, to et it looked at ?

That BIG black coil thing on the display board may warrant a second look. It has tiny solder connections on *both* ends of the leads. Look very close at yours (use magnifying glasses), and examine the solder joints where the coil wires meet the lead wires (not where the lead wires meet the PCB).

That one is an easy do-it-yourself fix. If it's not that, then more debugging is needed.
