Hey Everyone, its been years since I've been here, but my empeg is sick and it looks like its time for a new hard drive.

I have a Mark 2. Anything special I need to take into account for this process besides whats on the the FAQ?

My real question is what sort of serial cable I need to do this job. I haven't had to use a serial cable for ages and I don't believe I still have the one I used for this sort of thing. Just want to make sure I get the correct cable before I begin the drive replacement process.

Define "sick".

As for the serial cable, which you should get regardless, it must be a "null-modem" type, with DB9F connectors on both ends.
